Jesus Christ invites each and every single one of us to personal relationship with Him that is cultivated through our consistent time that we set aside for dialogue with God in His Word. The fruit of our relationship with God in prayer is imitation of Christ as intentional disciples of Jesus. As disciples of 2020, we are invited to bear the same fruit that the first disciples experienced over 2000 years ago: Diversity! Let’s pray & work for our earth to look a lot more like Heaven.
While Fr. Joshua Johnson was raised Catholic, he didn’t like the Church growing up. One day, in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, he fell in love with Jesus and perceive the call to become a priest. Now, Fr. Josh is the pastor at Holy Rosary Church in St. Amant, La, and he is a presenter in five of Ascension’s programs: Alteration, YOU: Life, Love, & the Theology of the Body, Rejoice, No Greater Love and the 99. He is also the author of “Broken & Blessed” and the podcast host of “Ask Fr Josh.”
