Celebrating the Liturgical Year in Your Classroom – John Collins

January 13, 2018 @ 3:15 pm - 4:15 pm

Celebrating the Liturgical Year in Your Classroom: Sing a Song of Seasons

Celebrating the liturgical year doesn’t have to be a separate lesson, because it can be integrated each week in your faith formation class.  From Advent to Ordinary Time we remember and celebrate our Salvation story in the person of Jesus.  John will share ideas, music, and activities for integrating the liturgical year in your classroom and planning without taking away from other instructional goals and lessons for the year.

John is a retired elementary school principal, former Director of Curriculum, and elementary school teacher. He is also a former DRE and catechist. John worked with Sadlier in the northeast for many years, and now he is a full-time National Religion Consultant. He is a keynote speaker and presenter at both national and regional congresses. His presentations always bring the practical and realistic to catechesis with his experience as both a professional educator and catechetical leader.
