Generation A: Making Things Matter to the “Whatever” Teen – Katie Prejean McGrady

January 13, 2018 @ 3:15 pm - 4:15 pm

Generation A: Making Things Matter to the “Whatever” Teen

The pervasive attitude among many teens is: I don’t care. We should see “Generation A” not as apathetic, lazy, or useless, but as vibrant souls in need of a challenge. We are charged with engaging with and inspiring them to meet the Lord, who can transform their hearts. How we operate in our classrooms, with our youth groups, in our parish communities, and even among our families must be accessible and available to Generation A.

Katie Prejean McGrady is a passionate teacher, youth minister, author, and speaker who travels across the country using her unique style of “theological comedy” with audiences ranging in size from 10 to 10,000. McGrady is the freshman theology teacher and assistant campus minister at St. Louis Catholic High School in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She has her bachelor’s degree in theology from the University of Dallas and is working on her masters in theological studies from the Augustine Institute.
