When Hope Doesn’t Feel Good – Mikki Sciba

January 13, 2018 @ 3:15 pm - 4:15 pm

When Hope Doesn’t Feel Good

People can be anxious, depressed, and overwhelmed, especially our young people. Many are looking to escape the harsh reality of our world and our own problems by finding earthly distractions instead of pursuing true hope . Genuine hope requires that we abandon these “false” worldly hopes and entrust everything to our Father without settling for anyone or anything less. In this will we discover our happiness in God and can assist those in our care to do the same.

Mikki Sciba graduated from Benedictine College in Atchison, KS in 2005 with a B.A in Religious Studies, Philosophy, and Youth Ministry.  For the past ten years she has worked as a high school theology teacher.  She currently teaches  9th grade Theology and act as campus minister in Beaumont, TX where she lives with her husband and three children.
