Hope for the World – Dr. Joseph White

January 12, 2018 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Hope for the World: Helping Kids and Teens Embrace the Fullness of Catholic Social Teaching

Catholic Social Teaching transcends the boundaries of politics and secular ideologies. In a society that is highly polarized, how can we form children and teens to proclaim and live the beauty of Catholic teaching, from caring for all creation to defending the life and dignity of the human person? Dr. Joseph White, catechist and child psychologist, will offer 5 practical ways to form learners who live the faith.

Dr. Joseph White is a Clinical Psychologist, author and National Catechetical Consultant. He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Graduate Certificate in Theology from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. Dr. White is the author of 10 books and numerous articles on catechesis and ministry. He is a frequent guest on Catholic radio and television. Dr. White maintains a blog for catechists at www.SharingCatholicFaith.com.
