Meeting Teens on Their Turf – Amanda Livermore

January 13, 2018 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Meeting Teens on Their Turf: Utilizing Specialized Retreats to Inspire Hope

By breaking out of the class retreat model, we are able to significantly impact the spiritual lives of teens through a variety of retreat settings. This creative approach allows opportunities for all students to meet Christ and develop a personal relationship with him. This breakout session will provide ideas and examples of innovative high school retreats which meet teens on their turf.

Amanda Livermore, Director of Mission Effectiveness for Bishop Moore Catholic HS, enhances Catholic faith for students, faculty, alumni, and families within her community. She has worked for the Diocese of Orlando supporting Campus & Young Adult Ministry, Marriage Preparation, and Missions. She studied psychology at Samford University and earned her Master’s Degree in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University, New Orleans. As a wife and mother, she sees the importance of a strong domestic church.
