The Road to Emmaus: Learning to Teach with Hope from the Teacher

On the road to Emmaus, the two disciples encountered Jesus in a transformative way.  Their eyes were “opened” and their hearts “burned”.  By rediscovering Jesus as the disciples did on the road to Emmaus, we can bring hope to a world that has largely forgotten Him.

Jason is the Director of Christian Formation for Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Baton Rouge.  He graduated from LSU with a B.A. in Anthropology and Notre Dame Seminary with an M.A. in Theological Studies.  He has previously taught Theology at Our Lady of the Lake College.  Jason has spoken and led retreats throughout the South and loves speaking about our Lord in the Eucharist.   He and his wife Lauren have 5 rambunctious children who love to live life to the fullest.
