Teaching to Strengths: Serving All God’s Children with Love and Hope

We will explore creative ways to teach Catholic concepts for all children, but especially children with autism and special needs. In this formational workshop, a variety of models of inclusion, effective teaching methods, best practices, and strategies will be shared that benefit catechists and teachers.

Carrie Freyer is the Sales & Marketing Curricula Specialist for Loyola Press. She has worked at Loyola for fourteen years marketing elementary curriculum products as well as helping serve parishes and schools in a variety of roles. Prior to joining Loyola, Carrie worked in ministry as a Catholic school teacher and catechist for over ten years. Carrie resides in Chicago with her family.
