Too Young to Go Forth? Engaging Youth in Global Issues through Faith

Young people want to go forth and change the world. This session will share methods and resources to engage young people as agents of Christian encounter who respond in faith to a world in need. We will provide practical ways for you to help them make personal connections between their lives and their global neighbors, explore Scripture and Church Teaching in meaningful ways, and take action to live GodÂ’s mission locally and globally in response to the pressing issues of our time.

Kevin directs the Maryknoll Society’s efforts to support and resource Catholic educations and diocesan schools systems. He has more then fifteen years experience ministering to and with ethnically and economically diverse communities across the United States, has worked as a middle school teacher and curriculum consultant in multiple dioceses, and has led mission immersion experiences in North, Central, and South America. He holds a Master’s in Education from the University of Notre Dame.
